Electrical Engineer (Port Lavaca, TX)
Research electrical engineering specifications and requirements for projects. Assemble design packages and issue work scope. Design and draw electrical control schematic, power distribution diagram, alarm circuit and electrical panel layout for new control system. Design and program PLC program, HMI program for automation process control. Design and build up communication with remote control system for new automation control system. Troubleshoot electrical equipment issues and root cause analysis. Oversee the construction and implementation of projects as it pertains the electrical engineering design and work scope. Investigate, review. Design and maintain SAS & Camera system in the plant. Test new technology and provide long term recommendation and plans for implementation. Develop operating/maintenance/troubleshooting procedures for the systems installed as part of the project.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics engineering or Instrumentation Engineering with 5 years of Relevant experience. Requires experience with HMI and PLC programming, remote systems communication control, electrical control circuit & schematics, electrical panel layout, and trouble shooting skills.
